The electric underfloor heating sector is hotting up

Specifiers, contractors and installers are switching on to its potential

Leading underfloor heating specialists Heat Mat run free training days to keep professional electricians abreast of advances and to alert them to the secrets of a successful fit out.

Next stop for Heat Mat’s expert technical trainers is Scotland and SELECT’s HQ in Midlothian.

Heat Mat will be running their sixth installer training day on June 28 at The Walled Garden; SELECT is the ideal partner for a training day, with the same commitment to ensuring excellence in the industry.

Heat Mat’s award-winning training days deliver advice on how to fit electric underfloor heating and which systems to choose. There will be the chance to fit a system and program thermostats along with seminar sessions on Heat Mat’s product applications. Installers will also learn about add-on products they can offer their customers.

Electric underfloor heating can warm a single room or a whole house and a host of applications in the commercial and industrial sectors - Heat Mat are supplying theirs via a network of UK distributors including electrical wholesalers across Scotland.

The potential for this form of heating lies in its flexibility – heating mats, mirror demisters, thermal insulation boards and trace heating are all available to satisfy a huge spread of suitable sites.

Whether a system is off-the-shelf or bespoke, Heat Mat believes training is key to spread the benefits of electric underfloor heating to both its existing and potential marketplace.

The FREE training day will run from 9am – 2pm on June 28 at SELECT, Bush Estate, Midlothian, EH26 0SB. To book contact Heat Mat on 01444 247020 or email training@heatmat.co.uk
