Our FREE Toolbox Talks are back for 2019 – so book your place today! The invaluable technical update sessions will again be touring Scotland in May and June, kicking off in Edinburgh on 7 May.
As always, our experts will be on hand to discuss the latest industry updates and developments and their potential impact on Members and their work.
The main topics up for discussion this year include:
Fire detection and alarm systems
Following an amendment to BS 5839-6, we’ll outline changes to standards and the enhanced fire safety requirements across Scotland’s housing stock.
Building Standards in Scotland
After a recent review into UK Building and Fire Safety Regulations, we’ll look at what changes to expect in Scotland and provide an update on how Certificates of Construction are now accessed and completed.
RCD selection
Our experts will deliver an overview of types of residual current device (RCD) and provide in-depth details of selection to ensure correct levels of protection, in accordance with Chapter 53 of BS 7671:2018.
