Fun at SELECT’s first Teddy Bears’ Picnic

Fun and fundraising was the order of the day at the inaugural SELECT Teddy Bears’ Picnic, with all the proceeds going to the Electrical Industries Charity (EIC).

Staff, Members and their families gathered at The Walled Garden on Saturday 29 June for a day of face painting, entertainment and games for the little ones. There was plenty of fun for the grown-ups too, with a tug-of-war contest and prizes including a Sainsbury’s hamper, Nespresso coffee machine and M&D’s theme park tickets up for grabs in the raffle.

Benefits Adviser Michelle Courtney helped organise the event, which raised £500 for the EIC. She said: “We had an absolutely amazing time. I can’t thank everyone enough for making the day such a success.”
