Our technical update sessions kick off in style as Members flock to Walled Garden to hear from experts
Our ever-popular Toolbox Talks have hit the road again for 2018 – and the mammoth 12-stop tour kicked off in style with a packed session at our HQ in Edinburgh.
Members flocked to The Walled Garden to hear technical presentations and discussions about topical trade matters, delivered by SELECT experts.
The free event attracted a full house of directors, managers, company owners, employees and apprentices.
Alan Wilson, SELECT’s Head of Communications and Member Services, said: “Our technical team and industry partners, including SCTT and the SJIB, put together a fascinating programme that covers the 18th edition of the Wiring Regulations and arc fault detection.”
Following the launch event on 8 May, the tour went on to visit Members in the Borders, Dundee, Glasgow, Kilmarnock, Inverness and Aberdeen.
Its final four dates are:
Oban – The Wide Mouthed Frog (13 June);
Isle of Lewis – Caladh Inn, Stornoway (14 June);
Orkney – Pickaquoy Centre (20 June)
Shetland – The Lerwick Hotel (21 June).
As well as technical presentations, the Talks feature an exhibition with Megger, Pike & Bambridge, Martindale, Linian, Lutron, Scolmore Group, Wylex, Aico, Enlite and ECIC.
