ESP’S Wi-Fi Door Station gives a vision of the future of security
ESP has introduced a battery-powered version of its Aperta Wi-Fi Door Station, offering quick and easy security installation.
Available in graphite grey and matt black, and powered by four AA batteries, each kit comes with a battery-powered chime which can be placed in a convenient location in the home.
Aimed at both domestic and light commercial markets, it means owners can talk to visitors from anywhere in the world via a smart device and the free ESP app. Owners also get alerts to visitors, can see who is at the door or gate in HD colour, engage in two-way communication and allow remote access.
The device comes in ready-to-use kit form and includes the Wi-Fi Door Station, 10DB Wi-Fi antenna, pre-installed micro SD card and LAN terminal. For successful set-up, the installer must ensure the user’s smartphone is connected to the Wi-Fi network, the Door Station is within range and that the key or password is available.
The robust metal housing and IP rating also makes it weatherproof and suitable for many external applications. For further information, visit www.espuk.com or call 01527 515 150.
